My 1st and fav go to furniture place. Will Smith(yes that’s his name) is was awesome. His manager Danielle is wonderful. The atmosphere is great! They’re staff as a whole makes you feel welcomed! The prices are awesome! Just a great place to go when you’re looking to buy furniture!
Poor customer service 11.9.17. Everyone was assisted except me, as I walked around the store for 40mins and the sale reps walked past with their heads down. I guess no one wanted to help the big black guy...not even customer service lol. They will never get my business, nor anyone I may know. I would give a "0" if possible. Its funny, the last time I was here, everyone passed by except the black male sales rep. My total experience was sickening.
I purchased a 3-piece leather set in January of this year. Since then I have had six yes I said 6 deliveries since January. The furniture has come damage several times, the delivery guys have damaged it right in my front yard using a box cutter, and they have delivered the wrong color a few times. I have asked many times for a refund and everytime I have been told no. Because it is after the 30 days timeframe when I made the purchased. But in almost a year now they have not been able to get my order correct. Yesterday I called to confirm the color of the furniture they are delivering, (today will be my 7th delivery since January) just to make sure they are bringing the correct color. The customer service associate had no idea what color furniture is being delivered. The associate told me, "I'm not on the truck that's coming from North Carolina so how can I see what color the furniture is." Right now I'm sitting in my living room on furniture they brought two weeks ago that is the wrong color and damaged (cut again). I have prayed that they will deliver undamaged furniture in the correct color today, because I am so over this situation. After several complaints about all of the issues Rooms To Go offered me a $100 store credit. Yes ONLY $100! I refused the store credit and ask for a $100 cash refund. I was told the check would come in the mail but guess what, months later and I still have not received the refund. This company is ridiculous! I am so disappointed I will never buy a piece of furniture from them again.
Bought a sofa and loveseat less than 1 year ago. Today, the material on the pillows is fraying- creating strings coming off the pillows. There is also a tear in the sofa cushion. When I called to have a technician come out since it was still under warranty from the manufacturer. He came out and looked at it, took pictures and agreed that it was not normal wear and tear- he had been seeing the same problem with the same sofa set. He said he would recommend they replace the cushions. When I called 2 weeks later because no one had contacted me from the store- I was told that the technician told RTG it was normal wear and we were at fault. I told the rep that he had told us the opposite, the phone rep "re-looked" at the pictures and said he would send the technician back out. Welp, he came back out 2 weeks ago, surprised that our claim was denied. He said it was NOT normal wear and tear and resubmitted our claim. Just called them again because of course they never contacted me back, and again- they tell me that he said it was normal wear and tear and should not be covered. Just to show their "good faith", they are replacing half of the cushions... but then the rep proceeds to tell me that they will probably not match my current set because they are newer and "NO" they will not replace all of them. Her recommendation was for us not to SIT on the sofa. Also, we should be sure to remove all jewelry before seating so we don't snag the cushions. I cannot even with this advice. BEWARE.
Floyd did a great job navigating us through our purchases. We loved the no interest for up to 5 years option! Great furniture at reasonable prices.
