I never go to short pump, ever but it was 3 days before Christmas and I had too. So 3 days before Christmas and short pump, I was prepared for battle. My son was in a shopping cart and there was stuff everywhere, no room for a cart in the men's section and the purse section was a struggle but we did get thru. We found everything we needed. The line was pretty long but it moved quickly and the lady at the register was very nice.
Kohls is one of the places where i like to shop cuz of their rewards program and selection. However this one doesn't have much in the Clarence section. I have been to Kohl's in Richmond Texas which has so much more selections.
Accidentally bought two of the same thing, the cashier spent 10 minutes of me sitting there being rude because I asked to just void the whole thing and buy one. Then the manager came, rude and dismissive, and sent me to the customer service line where there were 12 people in line to return their things. Very disappointed with the rude and dismissive way things were handled.
The customer service personnel; sales representative & cashier were all extremely helpful. Each person made sure that we found what we were looking for & did their job with a smile & focus on a good shopping experience.
I left off a star because the clearance sections are extremely unorganized and the racks are filled beyond capacity. Items other than clothing are just thrown on clearance shelves throughout the store. Unfortunately, they can't control the customers that just ignore the items they let fall off the hanger onto the floor and leave the clothes they didn't want strung up in the fitting rooms. However, management could control and prevent some of the problems. They could station someone in the fitting rooms to assure that the same number of items that go in the room come out. They could add more racks so that you can actually go through and see the items especially clothing and intimates. Items are just randomly put on a clearance rack, regardless of what it is, or what size it is (Junior items hung in plus items) . Other locations are not like this at all. The staff at this location are friendly and helpful, that's never an issue, but they too just put clearance items wherever. The store is clean, it's just cluttered and unorganized causing it to appear dirty. They have nice things and good deals, however this location needs improvement and more staff. More items would sell if they are where they should be. We decided to check all clearance racks in female clothing after discovering some misplaced items in juniors and we purchased 6 additional items for my daughter that we found in the woman's plus section. Had we only searched the junior area, we would not have bought them.
