Took my 2003 Honda Accord V6 in for some unusual vibrations coming from the engine. Abbotts identified the problem and were straight with me by telling me that the engine repair work was beyond their scope. They referred me to Mobile Repairs Service Center in Rockville and I cant thank Abbotts enough for the referral and for being honest with me. Steve and his team didn't even charge me anything to look at my engine......probably because he knew it was going to be an expensive fix. Thank you Abbotts......I will go to you for future Auto repairs.
Edit: When I picked up my vehicle the exhaust pipe was hanging off the bottom of the car, which is NOT how it was delivered. So I had to drive it that way to a respectable, honest shop that did the work perfectly for 1/6 what Abbott's quoted me. If you are a new customer, don't even bother.
Prepared to be price gouged. Asked them if they did exhaust, they said they did. Told me I needed a whole new system with new parts when a patch weld would do the job. Difference between $600 and $100. Make sure you or someone you trust looks at your vehicle so you know exactly what work is needed before you take your car here and sign on the dotted line.
Honest, straight shooter. Not sure what the one star guy is about. I've taken my car here several times and when it was exhaust related they referred me to another shop.
I was fedup by chain/franchise stores who are simply looking to loot you. Abbot’s was recommended by a friend. They are absolutely genuine and reasonable. If something doesn’t need fixing, they won’t push for it. They’ll fix the issue in time and with no repeat problems. Will always take our vehicles here.
Simply the best auto shop in the area. Been going there for 5 years now having discovered it in a review. Absolutely worth the money spent. State inspections a breeze every time. Oil change when you wait, for early drop offs. Never recommend any unnecessary repairs. Also get their annual calendar in the winter - pleasant sights.
