Tom Leaonard's Farmer's Market is fun and exciting, no matter the time of year! Whenever I am in the area I try and stop by for fresh produce, apple cider, or just to see what's new! In the fall the selection of pumpkins is almost unbeatable!! With a butcher on hand ready to trim fresh meats to an unbeatable selection of fresh veggies, seafood, cheeses and more - it is def worth the patronage.
Tom's is not the huge chain grocery store you would be accustomed to like Kroger or Food lion. It's a market, and a very great one at that. Fresh fruits and vegetables. I only buy my meat here and the prices beat every chain grocery in the area, including the all Board Head lunch section at an average of 6.99-7.99 a pound.

What's not to say? This place has amazing produce, meats and other groceries. Their produce is always fresh and tended. Their seafood is always amazing. They even have butchers in store to cut your meat how you want. They have tons of made in store products (like their mozzarella and fresh popped flavored popcorns). The prices are actually cheaper than some of the local big chain grocery stores and they have better quality than the big chain stores. Definitely worth the time to check them out, you won't be disappointed.
quite small market but most of the products are fresh. well-lit and great ambiance inside. great staff.
Used to be really impressed with this place, but apparently customer service is no longer #1. Just called to see if they had peeled filets today. Answer was “yes, I think so”.... When I asked what price was this week... “We don’t give prices over the phone unless it’s on sale”... Well guess you don’t get me driving over there to buy anything either...
